Animal welfare organizations say that neither the Eagles, nor Vick himself, has gotten in touch with them. "We fight animal cruelty every single day in this city," said Jennifer Utley, the wife of Phillies second baseman Chase Utley. She is a board member of the Pennsylvania SPCA, which takes in abused and neglected dogs by the thousands.
