SRV
Ok so I lost my wallet today, went to the dump to throw stuff away and I guess I dropped it there. The scumbags at the dump probably won't return my wallet if they have it. I had my license, school ID, and debit card in there. I canceled the debit card, so now I am wondering if there is anyway someone can screw me over by having my name, bday, and address?
JWaLL
They can probably gain access to your social security number. And if your address is available, that's not a good thing either. I would just hope a weirdo didn't end up finding it and just pray that a nice normal person found it and returns it to your house.
deestillballin
Call the local credit people and get the fraud alert on your SSN. that way if ANYBODY tries to make anything with that SSN/DOB combo, you will get a phone call. SRV
If they can get my SS just by having my address, name and bday then that iss retarded.
Cobb
That sucks man. I doubt anything will happen since you did loose it at the dump and the people who work there aren't the smartest of people.
SRV
I think I lost at the dump...I mean I could have dropped it before I left the house or something but I searched the car and re traced my step and I don't know where it is. Hopefully it fell in the dump and someone destroys it lol.
Dr. Feelgood
You know whats gonna happen right? You just canceled your debit card and what not...you'll find your wallet and end up having to wait a week or so to get a new debit card. It happens like 80% of the time. Happened to my cousin a month ago and it happened to a friend of mine last week. But it's better to be safe than sorry.
Guest Nissan
Did you file a police report?
SRV
Nope, all I have done is cancel my debit card so they can't screw me over with that. I know for a fact I won't find it because I checked my entire house and I checked my car all over and it wasn't there. I am really thinking I dropped it at the dump and some hillbilly retard picked it up and kept it. I would know because I went back to the dump to see if anyone found it and gave it to the dude running the dump but they said they haven't seen anything. billt chamberlain
damn that sucks. if a person does return it expect the money inside to be mysteriously missing but your license to still be in there. i hope you had check id on the back of you debit/credit card so if someone tried to make a purchase before you cancelled it they wouldn't be able to if they tried to use credit.  i lost my wallet at six flags before. i forgot to take it out my pocket and realized it soon as i got off the ride. what sucks is that the ride did multiple loops and spins so i couldn't trace back to which point on the ride i exactly lost it. i told the park people that it dropped and they said i would have to wait until after the park closed to go underneath the ride and look for it(what kind of sense does that make, looking for a black wallet at night time) or that a park employee was definitely turn it in and i would get a call when they did. yeah, never happened. i had 150 dollars and my season pass in that walled. SRV
I had like 2 bucks and no money in my debit card so whoever found my wallet must be disappointed lol. I just can't help but think some dumbass has my wallet, cuz all the people that cut grass and have to cut down trees and stuff are always at the dump. As long as there is no way there is identity theft I am happy. After I get my license replaced, what do they do with the one I lost, some dude out there is walking around with my license [Which is signed in print so he can't take my signature lmao] Edited August 17, 2009 by El Niño
Jesse The Body
Don't worry nothing will happen there is a lot of stupid people over there and I doubt they are that smart to do something that will screw you in the arse hardcore. Don't sweat it lad. Edited August 17, 2009 by Smoove
Guest Nissan
You have to file a police report when you lose your ID, license, SS card, etc.
