It reminded me of Sin City / Spirit (probably because they're all graphic novels), both of which I didn't enjoy. I'd probably like the movie more if I knew more about the plot, or understood more about the novels. I've seen it 3 times (theatrical version twice, blu ray director's cut once) and everytime I watch it IMO it gets better. It's a fantastic film, with great characters, and the acting is very good (besides Silk Spectre II/Malin Akerman, she was OK). I thought Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Jackie Earle Haley were fantastic in this, and Patrick Wilson was very good in it as well. And I didn't find this too long at all.
