Diesel
This topic reminds me of why the media shouldn't get to vote on player awards. Jameer Nelson 2008-09 STATSPPG APG SPG16.7 5.4 1.2 Baron Davis 2008-09 STATS PPG APG SPG14.9 7.7 1.7 Nelson gets one extra basket per game. However, Nelson nets 5.4 assists playing with maybe the best inside finisher in the league, and a half dozen spot up shooters. Baron manages 7.7 assists with...well, the Clippers. Yet everyone ranks Jameer higher? Well, of course. His team was better. We saw the same effect in the MVP and (God knows) the Coach of the Year voting. How about a new ranking: The 3 most important skills in basketball: 3. Defense2. Offense1. Having good teammates Congratulations to Jameer Nelson. It takes a special kind of dedication and work to be drafted onto a team with Dwight Howard. Yeah, but you got to factor in the shooting numbers. B-Diddy averaged 37% from the field and 30% from three point land and that is a god-awful field goal percentage. Anyone shooting at that horrible efficiency belongs no where near the top ten. Jameer on the other hand shot 50% from the field as well as 45% from downtown. That's the difference. B-diddy had guys on his team that can score the ball also so his team didn't suck that bad. Kaman, Randolph, Thornton, Gordon are all capable scorers. Now defense and team chemistry is another issue lol, but no doubt those guys can all score

Mac Dre
I'd stick Jameer over Andre Miller. 1) Chris Paul2) Deron Williams3) Tony Parker4) Steve Nash5) Chauncey Billups6) Devin Harris7) Derrick Rose8) Rajon Rondo9) Jameer Nelson10) Jason Kidd 1-9 are all-stars, or potential all-stars. Kidd doesn't get that close anymore. Yes. this is my list for sure
Years
Yea I'm probably gonna change the list in a sec I think I'm overrating Kidd a bit at this point in his career
