I hate when people come to a Muslim holiday thread just to question it or talk [expletive]. Muslims don't go into Christmas threads to go in and talk bad about it. smh.

Who's talking [expletive]? There is a difference with playing around and talking [expletive]. When I said I don't know how you guys do it, I wasn't trying to talk [expletive] if you interpreted it that way, I'm just amazed you guys are able to do it.

Lol, not you. I don't care about that, I'm talking about Diesel's post and some other ignorant ones I've seen in the past.

I fell asleep at 2 and I missed Sahur. -_- Today is going to be hell.

What exactly is it? I know it's like month long but that's about it.

Ramadan (Arabic: رمضان‎) (also written Ramazan, Ramzan, Ramadhan, Ramdan, Ramadaan) is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. It is the Islamic month of fasting, in which participating Muslims refrain from eating, drinking, smoking, and indulging in anything that is in excess or ill-natured; from dawn until dusk [1] Fasting is meant to teach the Muslim patience, modesty and spirituality. Ramaḍān is a time to fast for the sake of Allah, and to offer more prayer than usual. During Ramaḍān, Muslims ask forgiveness for past sins, pray for guidance and help in refraining from everyday evils, and try to purify themselves through self-restraint and good deeds. As compared to solar calendar, the dates of Ramadan vary, moving forward about ten days each year. Ramadhan was the month in which the first verses of the Qur'an were revealed[Qur'an 2:185] to the Prophet Muhammad.

After Ramadan we have something we call Eid, which is basically our Christmas. It happens twice in a year, and we get to skip 3 days of school max.
