Beaubois
Do you think it was a good move to acquire BJ Mullens for the Thunder?
moeroadkill
after thought, yeah i just hope he can produce from day one if he gets around 6pts 6boards and 1-2 blocks then im a happy lil Vegemite
Multi-Billionaire
I think Mullens is very underrated... he has good hands, and knows how to position himself or get better position offensively. He's actually pretty agile for a guy his size... and can be a committed defender. Good trade by Thunder getting him.
kadillak
Talent-wise, I think Beaubois may very well become the better player of the two. Dude's just a freak of an athlete with an incredible wingspan as a point guard. Sky's the limit for him. Now, relating to team needs, OKC added some much needed depth to their interior while allowing Collison to slide down the 4 where he's more comfortable and Dallas added a point guard with a great ceiling who can learn from the great Jason Kidd, assuming they sign him. Considering the latter, I think this was an excellent swap for both sides.
The Great iBoldin
I don`t exactly get the trade though. Why didn`t Dallas just take Beaubois to being with, giving Mullens to OKC.
Sun Tzu
I think it was a good trade for the Thunder, as long as Mullens can grab rebounds for the Thunder.
Owner Real Deal Posted June 29, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted June 29, 2009 It really didn't make much sense to do the trade, as Boldin pointed out, but regardless of that, I think Oklahoma City made the right choice. They needed a big, and they got him.
