Phightins
He can still pop one on occasion. A scary bat to face late in the game for sure.

trutrojan8
He can still pop one on occasion. A scary bat to face late in the game for sure. That's what I was thinking. An occasional pinch hitter, but with Seth Smith who's batting something like .600 as a pinch hitter, why would we need him?
Phightins
Can't have too much depth I suppose.
xx.
This guy hits balls way up, Coors Field will be a good one for him, he still has some left in him. Hes a good pinch hitter.
fly3rs18
it doesnt make much of a difference because they arent getting past the dodgers/phils/cards. let alone even winning the wildcard over san fran
trutrojan8
it doesnt make much of a difference because they arent getting past the dodgers/phils/cards. let alone even winning the wildcard over san franBecause they went from 12 games under .500 to 16 games over it. And because they just beat the best pitcher in baseball today.

Oh, and I'm positive you said something similar in 2007 about the Phillies. That worked out great. Dodgers, we'll have to see tonight.
