So who do you guys think is the better player? 3-4 years ago I would've gone with Marion for sure, but I'm not sure anymore with the stinkers he put up in Miami and Toronto. JWaLL Posted August 25, 2009 Report Share Posted August 25, 2009 As much as I like Marion, he only functions well with a good passing point guard like Nash, which is why he struggled in Miami and Toronto. Kidd could potentially help him play the way he did with Nash, but nothing is guaranteed. Jefferson is more of a self-weapon. He doesn't necessarily need someone to set him up every play.
