Yes it hurts the families and such but if someone is willing to commit suicide, there is a reason why they are at that point and it is there body. Mac Dre Posted August 29, 2009 Report Share Posted August 29, 2009 (edited) damn.... how ironic... my mom picked me up from ice skating with some school friends like 2 hours ago and she told me that some kid i know's dad commit suicide. hella crazy... he was caught dui pretty recently, then my moms friend went over to the house because she knows the mom (a few days ago), and the mom had a black eye, and she was like "it wasn't tom (the guy who killed himself) it wasn't tom!" suspicious, then earlier today tom shot the wife and the bullet grazed her leg, then he killed himself. i cant believe this... it completely changed my mind about suicide. its like 50/50. some people are innocent and just get bullied, but some people like tom are just effin crazy. wow. Before you just said "omg imagine how much they got bullied".. now to think that kid has to be without a father, selfish of his dad to do that to his family. How would you guys feel if someone without a family, friends, or money committed suicide?Is it still selfish?It is still cowardly, but is it selfish? I'm not sure. A lot of hobos don't commit suicide in fear of going to hell, but we have so many atheists on this site so I doubt that is a reason for them to live. Of course if it was me and I had Aids, I would make sure I went out with a bang. I'd sex up as much as possible. Any how, suicide is just crazy, and selfish. I honestly don't see how anyone could do a such thing and leave their love ones. Most people that commit suicide have something wrong with them in the head, or are on the verge of collapsing. billt chamberlain Posted August 30, 2009 Report Share Posted August 30, 2009 damn, from this thread, i'm guessing most of you are in the 14-16 year old range? really immature assumptions and thoughts about the whole subject of suicide. just assuming a person is selfish or bullied because they commited suicide is stupid. every person goes through an extreme low point in their life, and sorry to say, but some aren't strong enough to make it out. there are a lof of underlying factors that can be present in a suicidal person. yes, from an outsider looking in perspective it seems like ending your life can be a bit selfish because it does leave your family members in a horrible state, but you gotta look at the person who commited suicide and question why this person would do that if they have loving family and whatnot. there has to have been some deep pain they were in and mistakenly felt that the only way to achieve peace was to end it all. i doubt a suicidal person would kill themselves just to be selfish and hurt their family members. for one reason, they wouldn't be around to witness the family members pain anyway.
