magicbalala245
On this rainy and dreary day in New York City this afternoon, Stephen Jackson and Al Harrington were at South Street Seaport for a block party put on by their sneaker company Protege. One of the MCs at the event asked Stack Jack in front of the crowd whether he thought the Warriors were going to make the playoffs. Jackson paused then smiled before responding, “Um…I don’t think I’ll be a Warrior next year. I’m looking to leave.” Click on top of quote to read full article. Damn what should Warriors ask for Stephen Jackson if they do intend on trading him.

magicbalala245
Apparently Stephen Jackson already told Warriors of this demand Dime: You made a big declaration earlier today by saying you wanted out of Golden State. When did you decide this? Stephen Jackson: It’s not about a decision I made. It’s just things are in the air right now. I really can’t get too much into it right now, but I’m just looking to go somewhere where I can go and win a championship. Dime: Are the Warriors aware of this?SJ: Yeah they all know. Dime: Is there anywhere specifically you want to go?SJ: Either Cleveland, anywhere in Texas or out here with Al in New York. Dang if Cavs can somehow get this guy damn how are they gonna fit this guy in the offense. Edited August 28, 2009 by magicbalala245
Legacy
This might be a good thing for GSW.Thinking of it, it probably will be depending on what we get back. It just gives more minutes to the youngsters, but knowing Nellie, he'll just play Maggette more.
YugoRocketsFan
Stephen Jackson to Rockets, plz.
Legacy
Cavs will try to get him so he could be the counter to the Lakers getting Ron Artest.
Smitty
Do we really wanna compare Capt. Jack to Artest, though?
Legacy
Do we really wanna compare Capt. Jack to Artest, though? No bias, but I really think that Jack is as good as Artest. Better passer, scorer, rebounder, more clutch, and probably leader. I'd give Artest the edge in defense, but Jackson is a great defender when he actually tries. Still not as good as Artest though. And both of them are "tough" players. Edited August 28, 2009 by Legacy

magicbalala245
I do not think Jackson is a better rebounder then Artest that's just my IMO but Legacy I'll give what you said on other things. Jack is a better scorer and passer then Artest except with the leader part. I believe both are very good complementary players to a leader. Like Jack to Baron Davis. Artest to Kobe. magicbalala245
Let's hear opinions people. Who got the best shot at landing Captain Jack. HE said he would like to NY, Cavs, or any team in Texas. But no bias in this opinion but who has the best pieces to offer Warriors to land Captain Jack.
