Get Schooled, a television event sponsored by The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in partnership with Viacom (parent company of MTV, BET, CMT, VH1, etc.) will focus on the challenges public schools face. Celebrities, including rapper DMC, actress Vivica A. Fox, songstress Solange and rapper Lil’ Wayne will speak to the concerns of a nation regarding educational opportunities for all our children. All correlations have a room for error and special circumstances so take them for what they are; estimations. Any news encouraging students to stay in school is good news though.
