Warren2ThaG
Matt Leinart to Broncos Anquan Boldin to Chiefs Brandon Marshall to Cardinals Just the big names in the deal, obviously there would be more...
Owner Real Deal Posted September 2, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted September 2, 2009 The Chiefs really have nothing to return to either team. I'm not sure how they are going to deal for Boldin. And it would suck seeing Larry and Brandon sprinting down the field together. People said Moss couldn't return after his attitude problems in Minnesota and Oakland, yet he ended up setting records in New England. Marshall is a good receiver. The Regime
Yeah I dont see this going down, the Chiefs arent giving up anything in return. From a fantasy perspective I would be pist for not drafting Marshall if he indeed ends up in Arizona.
The Great iBoldin
Source? Anyways, I don't believe it. I wouldn't trade Boldin for Marshall straight up, never mind giving up our future starting quarterback as well.

xx.
Heres the trade rumor which makes a lot more sense Cardinals Get WR Brandon Marshall QB Tyler Thigpen Chiefs' fifth round pick Chiefs Get WR Anquan Boldin Broncos Get QB Matt Leinart Chiefs' first round pick
The Great iBoldin
Meh, Bleacher Report, not a solid enough rumor for me, even if it was by Scout's "affiliates". It's a crock, in my opinion, no major trade like that is going to go down just before the season starts. This Sayre guy, or anyone else for that matter it seems, doesn't have a clue about the current Boldin/Arizona situation.
Guest VicNabb
LOL. Marshall wants more $ than Boldin so this is out the door. If the Cards arent paying Boldin then they arent going to pay Marshall.

Owner Real Deal Posted September 3, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted September 3, 2009 Chiefs don't get rid of Thigpen if they just witnessed Matt go down after a few plays. That was too much of a scare.

They have Croyle though. Just as good.
Owner Real Deal Posted September 3, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted September 3, 2009 They have Croyle though. Just as good. And both Croyle and Thigpen were injured last season, which left Kansas City with nothing. If Matt goes down, and they trade Thigpen, all they have is Croyle...and seeing how the Chiefs really don't protect their QB, I'm not sure if bringing in Boldin is a good idea if you risk not having a QB to throw to him.
