bigdog17k
Rawlings S100 Helmet Apparently it's the safest helmet on the market currently, not sure why Wright's looks so big though.

Phightins
Except not... Anyway, apparently every minor leaguer will be required to wear those next year, and eventually it will be worked into the Majors.

I'm all for that if they can reduce the size a bit while keeping the safety features. I think that thing Wright is wearing looks way to big, and I think I would laugh or feel embarrassed everything I saw my team wearing one. But eh, maybe I'd get use to them. Cobb
Don't care how big it looks, the only thing that matters is that it's the safest. Good to know that all Minor Leaguers will be wearing it next season. I just wonder how long it'll take for more people to begin wearing it in the Majors. From what I've heard, the guys who have tested it out said it's almost unusable. Way too bulky. I know it is safer but I'm thinking they will need to develop a slightly more compact version. kingfish
Wright really sucks, at least this year. Hes been awful. I cant believe some people used to think he was better then A-rod, or even was compareable to A-rod.

It's been a down year for sure, but in his defense, he's tried awfully hard to alter his game to fit Citi Field. It's a really bad park for him IMO. The power numbers are down but considering the fact he won 2 straight gold gloves and still has 30/30 potential I'd defentley say w/o bias he's a top 10 player in the major leagues. Phightins
Top ten might be pushing it unless he fully rebounds next season, but he hardly sucks.
bigdog17k
It's hard to name a better young third baseman in the NL though.
Phightins
That is correct, however I still don't think Wright is quite top 10.
