Many have compared Danny Granger to Scottie Pippen, and rightfully so.

However, he doesn't have a Michael Jordan on his team, dominating the ball.

Would you say that Danny Granger could be a better second option, or should he be a first option, on a playoff-bound team?

He can pose as a primary option without a hitch, but ideally he's a second option on a championship team. Good but not great. Don't be fooled by his numbers.

This pretty much sums it up if you ask me. He is capable of being a primary option but I doubt that a Danny Granger led team will ever win a Championship. He is better suited to being a second option.

Well the Pacers are not winning a championship anytime soon, that is almost a guarentee. Grangers game is like Scotties however Scottie didn't need MJ to be successful, sure the Bulls wouldn't have won championships but neither will Grangers Pacers unless something happens in terms of incoporating a superstar player in their offense.

So it's a two way type of street, Granger could be a 2nd option like Pippen and win rings behind a star like LeBron or Kobe or he could quite easily be a 1st option and run a team (unfortunetly Pippen was shadowed by MJ) but not win championships.
