MainEv3nt
The Mavericks have 16 players under contract, but are believed to want to keep James Singleton. Dallas has two players left on their roster that are unsigned - Singleton and Gerald Green. In order to get their roster to down 15 players, the Dallas Morning News points out that the team could trade Greg Buckner's favorable contract. http://basketball.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/61428/20090903/dallas_would_like_to_keep_singleton/ fine a way to get rid of buckner an carroll an someone else to keep singleton and green. deestillballin
Sad. I think Green does produce well for us when we need him. Singleton too. I rather keep Singleton but hey this is a business.
Owner Real Deal Posted September 7, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted September 7, 2009 Yeah, I don't see the point of keeping Buckner over Green. Singleton? Yeah, keep him. I think he can be better than Gerald Green, for sure. He plays limited minutes, sure, but he produces well for the teams he plays for in those 12-15 minutes.
