Warren2ThaG
http://www.point-spreads.com/images/stories/falcons-lawyer-milloy.jpgReport: Seahawks Sign Lawyer MilloyAlex Marvez is reporting that Seattle has signed 35-year old man Lawyer Milloy. Without giving him a hard look, I don't want to say too much about the former safety, but his coverage skills are atrocious. He is an upgrade over Brian Russell as a pure tackler, and as a run defender. Further, because he is a strong safety, Seattle will upgrade its free safety position by moving Deon Grant there. Have to wait and see how this turns out, but this could be the proverbial poop in the birthday cake.http://www.fieldgulls.com/2009/9/5/1017410/report-seahawks-sign-lawyer-milloy?ref=yahoo
The Great iBoldin
I don't get why they cut Courtney Greene. He's a younger, inevitably cheaper Milloy who may be a notch below in run coverage right now, but that was his forte at Rutgers, being an in the box safety. Milloy got abused by the Cardinals in last years playoffs.
His Greatness
Lawyer Milloy is a pass completion waiting to happen for the offense. He's a fossil, and is still probably a baby step up from what they had. Brian Russell has his own category on the spectrum of awful football players. In fact, I heard it's named after him. Seattle still should've pushed for Pollard instead.
