Phightins
Disgruntled forward Dany Heatley and a fifth round draft pick have been traded to the San Jose Sharks in exchange for Milan Michalek, Jonathan Cheechoo and a second round pick. The trade ends a saga that began with a verbal trade request in mid-May. A request, sources say, led to several discussions between Heatley, Senators coach Cory Clouston, Senators GM Bryan Murray, as well as Heatley's agents, JP Barry and Stacey McAlpine. http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=290808 Oh [expletive]... fly3rs18
Oh [expletive]... my first thought exactly. but it seems like a pretty good trade for both sides. san jose needed to do something, and they got one of the most talented players in the league to play alongside joe thorton. that line is gonna be nasty if they play together and the senators got rid of heatley, but they still got 2 very good players in return
