The Goods
A source told Ken Berger that he believes David Lee's days as with the Knicks are over. Agent Mark Bartelstein will reportedly have Lee sign an offer sheet with the Grizzlies or Thunder that the Knicks will not be willing to match. "It's a tough loss for New York, but they don't want to screw up their 2010 plan," the source said. http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/60223/20090630/source_lee_leaving_for_grizzlies_or_thunder/
The Next Knick
Ah man this one's gonna hurt. But Hill will end up getting a lot more PT. Now...who will be our starting center? Our lineup is so confusing. PG: DuhonSG: HughesSF: ChandlerPF: Harrington C: Darko Um....wow. Hill coming off the bench along w/ Nate, Douglas, Jeffries, Eddy, Danilo, and WCox. I don't even know what to think. Is Hill gonna end up starting at center? Edited July 1, 2009 by The Next Knick
magicbalala245
Wow big news. But let's not deny this silly fact. No way is David Lee going to Memphis. David Lee will be going to the Thunder with Durant Westbrook, & Green. Thunder have a very bright future in this league to come.
xx.
David Lee is a better mans Nick Collison, so its only improvement for the Thunder who started Collison a lot and he had a good role with the team.

The Goods
Source: Knicks Will Offer Lee $32M Over Four Years A team source told the New York Daily News that the Knicks will offer David Lee a four-year deal worth $32 million. Lee, a restricted free agent, is believed to be seeking $10 million per year. The Knicks want to retain Lee, but are also trying to preserve financial flexibility for the summer of 2010. "There's no question he'd love to stay in New York," agent Mark Bartelstein said Tuesday. "But you are only a free agent so many times in our career, especially in the prime of your career." http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/60243/20090701/source_knicks_will_offer_lee_$32m_over_four_years/
The Next Knick
Please come back Lee...ahh man I'd love if he would be a Knick for is career. I don't think that offer will jeopardize 2010.

BlueDevil
It would be best for him to go to OKC. They could have a dominant team in a couple of years.

Diesel
I understand the whole saving money for 2010 thing, but really if you guys don't have any pieces to surround LeBron with in 2010 what would make him want to leave his contender in Cleveland to come to NY? Maybe if you guys kept Lee, drafted Rubio it would at least make him think about it.
OldChili
Well he's probably not going to the Grizzlies since they just acquired Randolph.
