Owner Real Deal Posted October 13, 2009 Author Owner Report Share Posted October 13, 2009 I won't even read your first reply, because the second reply is the only one that matters, because it mentions Iverson. And the fact is, if you want to criticize Allen Iverson as much as you do, be ready for others to criticize Chauncey Billups, or just shut up about it. Is that hard to understand, sir? Discussion is over.
Owner Real Deal Posted October 13, 2009 Author Owner Report Share Posted October 13, 2009 We looked sluggish out there. Andersen did great out there, Ariza seems to be improving (Scola was fantastic btw)...but didn't like what I saw out there. I don't see the hype Rockets fans were talking about all summer, we're looking like a bottom feeder. Doesn't really bother me, more losses = better chance at Donatas Motiejunas. There's no primary option out there that can carry the team, and there isn't anyone who can actually run the offense. If McGrady returned to full health after November, things could change...but I can't sit here and say I think that's going to happen. Not that I want the Rockets to be good, but I don't like player injuries, and I wish him the best.
Owner Real Deal Posted October 13, 2009 Author Owner Report Share Posted October 13, 2009 Wizards and Pistons should actually be interesting, because truthfully, it's difficult to tell what either of these teams will do this season, depending on who they start and if they stay healthy. Multi-Billionaire
I criticize AI because it's true that he's partying and it's true he's ball hogging, ask 76ers fans, ask Pistons fans, ask Nugget fans. You have Ron Artest on TLN, ask him too I guess since he seems to know all NBA players. When you take an action(s) of someone else and blame it on Billups... that's just pure irrelevant childishness... That, sir, is an attack, not a criticism. That's not Billups' doing. keep this going. Tell members on your site you interact with to "shut up" and you don't read his post. You can't deal with me without an ounce of respect, then I'd better go. You're a nice fella but your obsession for Lakers, Kobe, their haters and winning arguments separates you from the very thing that built you this community. When it backfires, you retaliate, as expected...and suddenly, Billups can't control his teammates anymore, because "he's not their daddy" even though he apparently was just last season. Either way, do what you wish. Don't worry, I don't have time to argue it anymore OR stop you from leaving. Enjoy the season.
Owner Real Deal Posted October 14, 2009 Author Owner Report Share Posted October 14, 2009 Bucks are down 1 at the half...Bucks aren't playing TOO bad this preseason...but 82 games? I'm really not sure how those guys will hold up. Not only will starters play 40 minutes a night, but the games will be more meaningful, and the season is long and rugged. I would be excited to see the Bucks do good, as it really doesn't matter to me but I couldn't put any money on it. They need discipline on defense, and they need Michael Redd to do much, much more when it counts.

A positive influence = "influencing" = is it "controlling" to you? You keep saying "I don't have time for this", "end of dicussion" when people ask for your response. Again, you need to treat members with respect although this is your site... that's the whole point, just because you run and pay for it, doesn't mean we're your [expletive] who you can say "shut up" to, say "end of discussion" as if I was your wife in a [expletive]ing domestic argument... you keep failing to treat me with the least bit of respect, it's obvious that you never will. But you can respect people who praise you, you seek your help, the 7-12 yr olds who think you're God in basketball debates... I'm just neutral, posting about my team, yet you keep attacking my team. I laid out reasons why your post was irrelevant to criticism and it's an attack, you keep going back to the same point... and end discussions when it needs a response from you with childish comments like "shut up" or "end of discussion". Who do you think am I? An OTR member or your [expletive] because I use your site to post bball stuff and you pay for it? Says a lot about you, not me. Adios then. La Bomba
Chris Douglas-Roberts has been a beast this preseason. I saw a link to a New Jersey newspaper and they were saying CDR has a chance of starting.

Klashnekoff
Yeah CDR is killing it however how do we lose a 10 point lead to half a Celtics team? Where is Harris? .. He better not play like this during the season. Lee, Williams, CDR, Lopez and even Boone who had 14,7 and 2 blocks are all looking super promising. I am excited to see how we do. Owner Real Deal Posted October 14, 2009 Author Owner Report Share Posted October 14, 2009 If CDR starts, it would be over Lee, I'm assuming...and I don't see that happening. Unless, of course, the Nets want to play him or Lee at the three. How is Terrence Williams looking? Box scores don't really tell much other than the numbers, since these guys are playing limited minutes all over the board.

Owner Real Deal Posted October 14, 2009 Author Owner Report Share Posted October 14, 2009 RD... could you please lighten up?Go with him. I'm ready to start booting people. Let's get a reminder of the lesser-defined rules here. 1) If you have something to say about a team or player, be ready to take a dose of your own medicine, and don't whine when it sticks you a little too hard. 2) Three members run the forums as admins/owners. There are 3-4 active moderators. That's it. If you aren't one of those, you don't act like one, and you don't stick your nose in anyone else's business, especially when you've been around here for less than a year. Just two. I'll add more if necessary. Back to the topic at hand, or I'll just hand out the suspensions as I see fit.
Multi-Billionaire
Last post of mine it's been a good 5-6 yrs together You keep thinking I get butt-hurt by your attacks on my team, but it's not about that. It's your irrelevancies, it shows the attacks you did were not necessarily what you believed but you did it as a "response" because I criticized AI. It's you who's hurt not me. It's also about you being a tough [expletive] when it's not necessary. Sure this is your site, I don't mean to tell you how to run it, but everywhere no matter if you're the boss, owner, employee, cleaner, you have to deal with people with some respect. Your blabbering non-sense on me is like treating me as if I didn't have brains to understand it's a non-sense. Your attitude of "it's my way or the high way" when it doesn't necessarily have to go that way is starting to be tyrannical. Not even my dad ever says "end of discussion" to me, that's not showing the least bit of respect in dealing with people, that's what tyrannical bosses/ leaders do, it's a sign of losing authority. Sure it's painful to lose OTR when it was hacked but are you going to be defensive toward every member now? Remember it's not you who built it. It's you and us together. But you have ditched that, you're losing arguments, you're banning members more than ever, the distance between you, the mods and members is getting wider everyday. It hurts me a bit, I won't lie, cause I thought you and I although never really met in person, but together for 5 years now online, shouldn't be this way... but you're treating me like one of those threats who can hack this site anytime. No respect? No trust? No way. I used to agree with what you said about RealGM posters are unintelligent but now I think it's about you who thinks everybody's lesser. Doesn't matter how legendary as an owner or admin you were in the past, today is what counts. Thanks and good luck to you too, your Lakers (except when they play Nuggets). Cleveland's Finest
I like this also because Shaq can have a bigger role tonight. We're 3-0 but without our starting Guards and LeBron, no way we win.

Box scores don't really tell much other than the numbers, since these guys are playing limited minutes all over the board.CDR's going for the SF spot because Harris and Lee in the backcourt is just about a done deal. T-Will's been pretty generous, at times a bit too generous with the ball. He passes on FG attempts that he should probably go for. He hasn't quite shown the excellent passing we're expecting yet, but he's been helping move the ball around. Harris keeps getting hurt, but none of the injuries appear to be anything important. Owner Real Deal Posted October 15, 2009 Author Owner Report Share Posted October 15, 2009 Arenas actually did pretty good. He may not have shot the ball as well as he should've, but he's actually looking for his teammates. Hope he proves me wrong. Owner Real Deal Posted October 15, 2009 Author Owner Report Share Posted October 15, 2009 Did anyone get to see Blake Griffin against the Spurs? Dash
^Yeah both looked great out there. DeAndre Jordan didn't too bad either but good grief, 6 turnovers? How about the Wolves? I haven't seen Flynn and Sessions on the court together but invidvually they're solid. Brewer is looking coming off surgery, 13 points and 3 picks. Chris Richard had a 17/13 night :o
