Go with him.

I'm ready to start booting people. Let's get a reminder of the lesser-defined rules here.

1) If you have something to say about a team or player, be ready to take a dose of your own medicine, and don't whine when it sticks you a little too hard.

2) Three members run the forums as admins/owners. There are 3-4 active moderators. That's it. If you aren't one of those, you don't act like one, and you don't stick your nose in anyone else's business, especially when you've been around here for less than a year.

Just two. I'll add more if necessary.

Back to the topic at hand, or I'll just hand out the suspensions as I see fit.

2. Haha, that doesn't mean that I cant help the forum. it seems to me that you've been in a lot of discussions that turn into arguments. you seem a bit harsh. all i asked is that you lighten up.

...with the same exact people that have been arguing with me for five years. You wouldn't know. It's the same people I keep on the forums, despite all of that. It's the same people that argue with everyone else.

So I am very tolerant. I do "lighten up" all the time, when necessary. I don't need anyone telling me how to run the board, or even suggesting how to run it.

And we aren't having this discussion, especially in this topic.

you know, just trying to help. 5 years is a long [expletive] time, and you would think after 5 years you'd have MUCH more members. this could be why, you argue a TON.

We had over 2,000. We were hacked. Your time here is coming to an end soon.

My predictions: Bynum and Rose are both going to be All-stars this year and Bynum will finally shut up the haters.

Chicago will be the 4th best team in the East.

We had 2,100+ registered members here the day before the hack. People that were on this board will tell you that. We had 120+ active members every day. After the hack, we were down for a week. We lost 600,000+ posts, which is why some of our active members took off, because all of their hard work was deleted. I know exactly where they are posting at now, and I know exactly why they left, and that's not my problem.

As far as having 6,000 active members, we aren't going to get there, because I don't want to. I don't spam, and I don't ask my members to spam. I keep this board limited in membership because I don't want to bring in unintelligent basketball discussion from sites that are on the verge of dying. That's why I don't merge with anyone else. That's why I don't recruit hard.

I suggest you drop it, because you have absolutely no idea what this site is about, how it's ran, how it was ran, or anything about us or myself. At this point, you're simply a spectator that I will honestly say I don't mind losing if you continue to suggest how I run this board (which is not "helping") or telling other members how they should and should not be posting (as you did with magicballa a couple of times now). You aren't an admin, a mod, on staff, or have any past affiliation with OTR, and you don't have 30,000 posts (pre or post hack), so you're either going to follow suit with the rest of the members and stop dragging threads off-topic with something you won't have any say in, ever, or just find a better basketball forum that will suit your needs by making you an admin and letting you take over the place.

Another post about it and you won't post here again.

Rose should get it, and Bynum should have a chance if Duncan plays the four, and Jefferson struggles after that knee injury (because, otherwise, it should be Jefferson's to lose).

Arenas and Miller didn't play against the Hawks due to flu-like symptoms? And I read that it was after they had gotten flu shots. Hmm...

Foye did well, though, but Washington just attempted too many threes, and had trouble defending Williams (for some reason).

lol that wasnt deserved.

Chase Budinger is a beast, i think i'll repeat that again.

Yeah, Chase is soo good at getting open and coming off screens. Taylor seems like he'll be spending most of his time in the D league, but potential wise he can be better than Budinger.

Ariza looked pretty decent out there again. His dribbling still needs a lot of work and he's not too good of a passer, but I can see why Adelman wants to 'feature' him in the offense

All Frye does is run around the 3pt line

I haven't seen one play of him that's not an outside shot.

Yeah, and I know he can score from long range, but I'm really not sure how that's going to play out when they face a team that has a big who's willing to defend him out there. Phoenix could cause someone like the Cavaliers problems (assuming LeBron doesn't go off for 50) because Shaq won't step out that far without suffering the consequences of an open lane for Nash and Amare, but on the flip side, someone like Mehmet Okur will just follow Frye all over the court, and you don't have to be that great of a defender to defend a three by a big man, just a hand in the face.

That's going to be a problem. I don't even know why he isn't play the 4 and Amar'e isn't playing the 5. In my opinion that's how we should be doing it. -_-
