Teletopez Posted September 26, 2009 Report Share Posted September 26, 2009 I really hope Lester is alright. He's gone through a lot, and he's been tough through his whole journey in the bigs. It was great to see the Yankee fans clapping for him when he got up. Great, great game. Joba made 2 mistakes, but he went 6 innings with less than 90 pitches. Excellent outing. We allowed Boston 2 hits, and they only reached 3rd base once, which was in the last inning because of defensive indifference. Our offense wasn't its usual self, we were 1-14 with RISP and didn't score with bases loaded and no one out. But Damon gave us the insurance we needed and the pitching gave us 9 scoreless innings.
