Especially since most of the day is spent doing busy work and learning things I will never actually use in the real world. Take algebra for example, when the [expletive] am I ever going to use any of that? I'm not going to go around doing that or plotting graphs. The only classes that are somewhat meaningful are the business classes. They teach you skills needed to survive in the real working world. I can't even say that high school English classes are worthwhile as more time is spent reading old stories/plays rather than learning how to write proper documents and proposals. For those reasons stated above, I'm whole heartedly against this. Maybe if more of the day was spent on meaningful things I'd be a bit more open to this idea, but until then, no. Like business classes for me are an easy A. Why? Because I actually care to learn about them as I will be using the information for the rest of my life. I don't care who fought at the Alamo as it has no true effect on my life. Personally, I think high school should be more like college in a sense. Basically we'd all pick a "profession" or "field" and we'd study based on that. Add those four years to your college years and the U.S. would be able to produce more professionals in various fields. It would allow everyone to find what they truly want to do as well as get ready early and take in much more than they would've otherwise. For me, I'd want to do basically a "business high school".
