Revis Island
I think it's pretty obvious these are the two most overrated QBs in the NFL, but if you don't think either is overrated, tell me which one is more overrated than the other, If you were forced to pick one. reno
How the hell is cutler the most overrated player? Especially this season, erase the greenbay game were everyone was out of sync, and look at his past two games. Week 2 against he steelers, he completed 27 passes, 71% completion rating, 236 yards 2 tds 0 picks and a 104.7 qb rating. Week 3 against Seattle, he completed 21 passes 77.8% completion rating 247 yards 3 tds 1 pick and a 126.4 qb rating. This was the highest qb rating for an opposing QB in Qwest field since it's opening in 2002. He has been very "clutchler" the past 2 games, whether it was going 9/10 92 yards game winning td drive against the steelers, or sharp against the seahawks. If anything, cutler has been very underrated this season, especially with the fact hes working with no oline and a retarded offensive coordinator ron turner. Romo has had two nice games too, probably more. He's INT prone. Only Favre had more last year and Cutler already leads the league with 5. Plus, I hate Cutler so I will have some bias. fish7718
Lol @ all the Tony Romo hate. Tough to overated a QB with a career 29-13 record and a 94.2 QB Rating. Can't argue with you genius's. Meanwhile everyones new favorite QB Drew Brees is a career 55-51 record with a 90.2 rating. Wait Drew Brees has 1 more play off win. Damn forgot we judged QB's on play wins.

fish7718
RomooooooNice intelligent thought out post. I'm glad you could add such amazing input to this topic. Really if you are going to vote for Romo please leave an argument besides he had a few bad games in december and hasn't won a playoff game in his first 3 years as a starter. fish7718
I think its obvious to anyone the most over rated QB is Eli Manning or Aaron Rodgers Manning has always been terrible and now all he does is hand it to Jacobs and throw short and intermediate routes, Rodgers is being dubbed as the next joe montana and someone of you would actually take him as the first player to start your franchise with, the guy isn't that good not saying hes bad but hes over rated

That Romo is a better QB than McNabb all-time? Is that really your intention? QB Rating doesn't take into account all the plays McNabb made as a scrambler in his younger days. It does take into account his terrible recievers he had for most of his career before he had TO and before he got Desean. Romo has had the luxury of the best WR of this decade on his team for all 3 of his years. In his first two games this year without him his QB Rating was 82(lower than McNabbs). ''but....but...but...mcnabb been to the superbowl lolz..'' You think Romo is a better QB than McNabb all-time? Alright post your reasons so I can own them. Nice attempt at being funny foreskin fan. fish7718
Lol McNabb had TO too and Tony Romo is a scrambler too, nice try. MY whole point of bringing McNabb in was for comparison. If Romo crumbles under pressure a 76 QB Rating must be terrible in the playoffs, well Mcnabb is only 5 points higher...lol Edited September 29, 2009 by Fish7718

Diesel
Lol McNabb had TO too and Tony Romo is a scrambler too, nice try. McNabb with TO 3,875 Yards, 31 TD, 8 INT, 104.7 QB Rating in his only season with TO. And a trip to the Superbowl. Only QB to throw for more than 30 TD's and less than 10 picks in a season at the time. It overshadows any year Romo has had. Now that Desean is becoming a pro-bowl reciever as well it should help Donovan once again. And lol @ comparing Romo's scrambling ability to the McNabb of 00-04. MY whole point of bringing McNabb in was for comparison. If Romo crumbles under pressure a 76 QB Rating must be terrible in the playoffs, well Mcnabb is only 5 points higher...lol Too bad McNabb actually wins though. I guess that 5 points is making a nice difference. Other than guys on the Patriots dynasty teams nobody has played more playoff games than McNabb's Eagles among active teams. McNabb has a nice 9 wins in the playoffs. 9 more than Romo has. Edited September 29, 2009 by Diesel

If Romo was an established veteran quarterback he would have put up just as good of numbers. Scrambling isn't a great play when you have open receivers down field. Diesel
If Romo was an established veteran quarterback he would have put up just as good of numbers. Scrambling isn't a great play when you have open receivers down field. McNabb was 28 years old at the time. Romo is 29 years old right now. Not my fault Romo couldn't even get on the field until he was like 26. Romo had the advantage of coming in relatively unknown and teams didn't know what to expect, but McNabb had a giant bullseye on his head as his Eagles were in the NFC Championship game 3 years in a row prior to that year. Romo will never put up those numbers. I'm pretty confident in that fact. And scrambling is a great play when you have guys like James Thrash and Todd Pinkston who are unable to get open at all and you got to create a play on your own. Obviously with TO and Witten it's going to be a little easier to find a nice target.

Flyers why don't you tell me why Romo is over rated then.

fish7718
Cutler is awesome. Romo has a history of screwing up and choking.Haha I forgot about this one, make it 4 guys. Cutler's Broncos were 8-5 last year and needed one win to make the playoffs. They dropped 3 straight games against the Cheifs Bills and Chargers to blow the division.
