A.K.
I don't like how if I make a post, it doesn't show up under View New Content. That's really all I use to navigate the board and it doesn't let me see posts I just made or threads I just replied in. If I want to check back on a thread I posted it, I have to go all the way back to my profile and view all my posts. Is there a way to change it and make it similar to the old View New Posts section on OTR where it'd show everything, my posts included?
Universe
Yeah it's very annoying.
JWaLL
I think you have to click on "Watch this topic" for the ones you post in for some reason. I agree it's pretty annoying though, the View Active Content is the only way I navigate forums.
A.K.
I'm sure there is a way to change it.
Force
Yeah, I said the same thing in the Rebuilding the Dynasty thread..thats pretty much the only way I navigate as well.
alcstarheel
Until we figure a workaround, you can set the board to watch every topic you reply in. That's a board setting that we have to see how we can change, if we can change it.
Owner Real Deal Posted July 1, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted July 1, 2009 I still don't get it. I posted in the Harris/Rondo comparison topic. It's not going to be new content because I read my own post. BUT, when someone posted in there, I was able to see that topic in the "View New Content" link, since it was something I hadn't read yet. Owner Real Deal Posted July 1, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted July 1, 2009 Someone go post in the "Kobe extension" topic in the Lakers forum. I'm just testing it out again.

His Greatness
Today's Active Content at the foot of the board works.

Universe
Like I said in the other thread, "Todays active topics" on the bottom of the front page is the old OTRs "New Post"
JWaLL
It's not really a big problem though. Most topics are fairly active, so if someone posts in it after you then you see it pop up in the active topics. It's not a big deal if you aren't reminded that you just posted in a topic in the active content search lol...

alcstarheel
If that link at the bottom works well enough for you guys we'll be able to stick a New Posts button under the banner when we get around to it.
A.K.
Ohh, Today's Active Content is what I'll have to use. Thanks guys.
A.K.
Is there any way to get that Today's Active Content button available from every thread rather than just on the homepage?
A.K.
I gotta add, I'm loving this site. The design is great and I've really gotten used to it. Besides the Today's Active Content being in every thread or on the top of the screen like the old View New Post button was, I can't complain about a single thing. Universe
That button sucks balls. Really frustrating missing threads I've posted in even when someone responds.
