The Goods
The Grizzlies are preparing a $40 to $50 million offer for Knicks restricted free agent forward David Lee, according to several league executives. "There's a great deal of interest in him, and a lot of teams are trying to be very creative," his agent, Mark Bartelstein, told Yahoo! Sports on Wednesday. http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/60249/20090701/grizzlies_preparing_$40m_$50m_offer_for_lee/

OldChili
It'll be a solid pick up for them, but I still think he's getting paid too much.
Flight
If either Memphis or OKC ends up with him, I'll be happy. OKC needs him more IMO, Memphis has Warrick and Arthur that can split time and be alright.
The Goods
Griz Owner Nixes Lee Offer? Grizzlies' owner Michael Heisley has apparently not given GM Chris Wallace approval to make a lucrative offer to David Lee. Lee is a restricted free-agent but the Knicks may not match a contract at or near $10 million per season. http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/60257/20090701/griz_owner_nixes_lee_offer/ Edited July 1, 2009 by The Goods
