How do you know?

I don't really care about video games, but I will back up the PS3. And Slaven gave a good explanation while that other dude didn't use facts or anything.

all slaven said was pwned and you mad. if you admit you don't know anything about video games, then why post in this thread?

i already got you on AIM. Cross game chat, much faster speeds, better achievement system(plus it wasn't a rip off  ), get releases faster, 100% universal unlike psn

These things dont even matter lmao.

Cross game chat, ps3 will eventually get that, we have text chat.

Faster speed? Who cares? You are downloading a demo 20 seconds faster than me, oh boy thats worth 60$ a year

Achievement system? Not rly, its the same, PS3 trophies and the 360 achievement crap is no different.

Releases? You get a demo a week earlier for 60$ a year, oh boy.

100% universal? Whatever that means but PS3 games are region free, i can import games from europe and asia.

Because that other dude needs to prove that 360 is better by actually posting and using evidence instead of just saying "no, 360 is better"

speed has to do with lag. and 20 seconds does not equate to 15 minutes. nice logic

ps3 has no in game music

ps3 never added cross game chat; 360 has had it since launch and with up to 10 people since last october

getting ALL DLC a week early is worth $35 for 13 months. xbox live is not $60. are you blind?

achievements load faster than trophies. much faster.

oh, not to mention ps3 3.01 firmware upgrade is ruining system's drives, and sony is charging $150. at least MS fixes their mistakes for free

In-game music, my computer is next to my gaming system, I have in game music whether ps3 lets it happen or not.

I know ps3 hasnt added cross game chat, but they eventually will.

These things xbox has is really nothing of value.

Plus PS3 fixes ur [expletive] if you have a warranty, I have 3 years of that.

well if you have a home theater setup, in game music is a big deal. and my sound system with my 360 is much better than my computer

and sony has no plans to add cross game chat

not to mention sony doesn't give extended warranties directly, and will not fix your crap without $150

Sony doesnt "Reveal" their plans, they update their crap all the time so cross game chat will eventually come onto the PS3. I also have an extended warranty from wal-mart, if my crap is broken, i drive 2 miles, get my new ps3 system and come back, while your 360 system has prob gotten red rings of death a good 5x, you ship it and it comes back in 2 months! Nice!

2 months? total time is 2 weeks. and wal mart will be a dick about the repair plan, have fun.

not to mention last time my 360 broke i got a free controller and over night shipping so it took 5 days total

Blu-ray is still the future so PS3. It's not noticeable now, but with more games starting to come out exclusively for the PS3, you'll notice the big difference between the two systems. You'll start to see more and more games on the 360 coming out with multiple DVD discs just to keep up with the Blu-ray and most developers haven't even utilized the dual layered blu-ray.

You also gotta be impressed with Sony's 10 year plan with the PS2. People with the PS2 have had games coming in for 10 years while the regular XBOX hasn't gotten that same 10 year value. Reliablility. Sony has reliability over Microsoft hands down.

lol this is your first post?

blu ray hasn't proven anything, because its being outsold BIG time by DVD. And that blu-ray being used for games has been stated for 4 years, still hasn't happened.

and what the hell does ps2 have to do with anything?

reliability? most of the BC PS3s have already broken, or will break. And Sony will charge you big bucks.

lol ya i know right takes a gaming topic to get me to post.

But what i wanted to say about the PS2 is that it's a same 10 year plan they have for PS3. I assure you that more 360 users have ran into more problems than PS3 users. Now I don't know much about the red ring thing, but I know I have one in my apartment and that it happesn a lot.

And of course Blu-ray is being outsold by DVD. DVD is old technology. For a very long time the PS3 was a good price for Blu-ray, but now that time has passed, you can buy blu ray players for $100 probably less.

I've had two PS3's replaced, no problems at all, all shipping within five days. One was my fault, the other was one of the first systems to come out (a 20GB system) that overheated.

I've had my current PS3 for years, 40GB. Perfect system, nothing goes wrong. Love the blu-ray player, love the sound.

In addition to that, I've had three friends switch after getting the red rings on all of their systems, two of them getting it twice on a store-purchased and then on a refurbished (or repaired).

Also, there would be no way I'd play with that odd-shaped controller. Feels stupid in my hands.

Love the PS3.

I can't argue with you there. The 360 controllers were a big improvement on the xbox ones. Just a good feel. But personally i play fps on mouse & keyboard.

Same here.

Personally, I have a 360. Don't care too much on which one is the better console, but I've played on both. I just prefer the 360 since I'm used to the xbox controller.

You still arent answering why the 360 online is better. Sounds like someone is losing a battle

360 online is better because not only is it a lot less laggyer but you can create parties, invite people to games from friends list, and they get demos n such before PS3. Those may sound like small reasons but trust me it is a huge difference.

PS3 online isnt laggy, you can invite people to games, and you may get demos a week before us but you pay about 60$ to get a DEMO a week earlier, demos arent that big of a deal.
