headliner
Phoenix Suns center Robin Lopez will have surgery to repair a broken bone in his left foot and is expected to miss six to eight weeks. Lopez broke his fifth metatarsal -- the long bone on the outside of his foot that connects to the little toe -- in the second half of the team's intrasquad scrimmage Saturday in San Diego. Team officials say the procedure to insert a screw in Lopez's foot will be performed Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix. Lopez, picked 15th by the Suns in 2008, averaged 3 points and 2 rebounds in 60 games as a rookie last season.

Sun Tzu
This is bad. I was looking forward to seeing him play in the pre-season.
TheNextBestThing
This is bad. I was looking forward to seeing him play in the pre-season. ...And then stop, right? Robin was good for exactly 0 things last season. I'd rather have Frye, Amundson, or the man selling hot dogs in row 26 playing.
