Warren2ThaG
Hope the Twins keep it close the 1st game, they are tired.
bigdog17k
Twins are gonna be exhausted. I think the Yanks take it close.

Cleveland's Finest
I can't believe the Twins got here. Carl Pavano will be pitching against the Yanks in the playoffs. Hopefully Pavano pitches in NY so he can get booed. Yankees in 3...but with the Twins luck they could sweep them just as likely. kingfish
The Twins will be lucky to win a single game in this series. Not so fast. All of their starting pitchers are pretty much above average, so they wont dominate in that regard. Their hitting is pretty good even without Morenau, they have a ton of speed guys as well. Look out for Mauer, Kubel, Cuddyer, but especially Mauer
Lone Wolf
I'll say this to Wali (since he's one of those rare non-biased Yankee fans): Good luck to your Yankees.

Teletopez
Apparently, winds are blowing inwards and fly balls may not carry like they usually do.

Teletopez
I read somewhere that there was winds up to 41 MPH blowing OUT tonight. No? Possibly, but either way the wind plays a factor in balls hit in the air. Great to see the captain getting us started and overall, we've been hitting the ball very well. Teletopez
Great pitching, just 1 earned run. The offense was stellar, A-Rod broke through with key RBI's today. Once Jeter hit the shot to left, we started rolling. Interesting pitching matchup on Friday. Blackburn, 4.03 ERA, vs. Burnett, 4.04 ERA. Lone Wolf
Well, the Twins looked tired from last night's game. They didn't arrive in NY until around 4 am in the morning. They also need to take more pitches. I kept shaking my head whenever they would swing at Sabathia's slider, down and away...

I kept shaking my head whenever they would swing at Sabathia's slider, down and away...I've observed today and yesterday that they almost always swing in a 2-0 count and that it usually results in a miss or a foul. Lone Wolf
Yeah, it makes me cringe, a lot. It seems like Young is going back to his free-swinging days, too. :\
kingfish
Twins just played bad defense today. I have a feeling Burnett wont be as good as CC in game 2.
ChosenOne
Homerun A-Roid to tie it up in the bottom of the 9th with no outs.
