fish7718
Lol the east coast sucks. Is there ever any good weather over there? It was like raining with chance of postponement last time the Angels went there for games 1 and 2. Its like 70 degrees and sunny over here. Regardless of who wins this series, New York sucks.Yeah cause it never rains it west coast cities like Seattle

Flash
Andy Petite was great tonight. Holding the Angels to one run in a game like this is huge. Mariano was clutch as well as was Joba. Â Can't say enough about A-Rod though. He's been amazing thus far in the postseason.
kingfish
Wow im so disappointed with this series. One good 0-2 pitch to A-Rod in game 2 and we are probably looking at a game 7 tomorrow night. And tonight well we pretty much put our own nail in the coffin. I dont know how Kazmir botches that bunt throw, im simply shocked he botched it. Not like it mattered, we could not get many clutch hits as usual and choked when it mattered most. The umps were a bit ridiculous with their strike zone, Pettite got every pitch for us if the Yankees didnt swing at it must be a ball. I recall a replay of A-Rod on first after a walk saying "that pitch was a strike," you could read his lips and tell and I know im not the only one who saw it. Im not going to blame the umps though, I hate when people blame the refs when my teams win so thats all I will say about that. Im not going to congratulate the Yankees, they didnt do nothin special. You miss the playoffs come back and buy every big name free agent on the market, and you now have the top 5 biggest contracts in baseball history on one team. The Yankees infield probably makes more then the whole Angels team combined. And you still barely make it to the world series because the other team pretty much beat themselves. Its not really earned, some teams have to coach their [expletive] off in the minor leagues and make flawless roster decisions in order to reach a world series. Sort of like what the Phillies have done. Â To the Phillies fans, I hope you guys win. You guys are a rowdy bunch. And im sure some of you agree with my opinion on the Yankees as well. Would be quite interesting to see you guys do it 2 straight, a franchise that is due for it and deserves it. And Phillies fans for the most part have been classy so far imo. I definitely think you guys will win. You arent going to beat yourselves, and have players with toughness and ability to get clutch hits like Werth, Howard, Rollins, ugh what a lineup. Cliff Lee and Hamels have shut down stuff and can handle the Yankees lineup. Honestly we had no bussiness being in this series, we pretty much handed the series to the Yankees on a platter and they should have swept us honestly. I know you guys wont do that, and will put so much pressure on the Yankees. Hope you guys win, Go Philly!

Lkr
^Soccer doesn't count  Anyway, I am disappoint. Every year we have made the playoffs since 2002, we have played great, fundamentally sound baseball in the regular season, and come the post season, we stop doing that. Typical Angels choke I guess. Scott "The Red Sox/Yankees Killer" Kazmir sure came through this post season, what a waste he was trading for. All of those errors counted up and the Yankees beat us. Hopefully we're back next season.Go Phillies
The Next Knick
I love it. I'm so happy we made the world series, but not satisfied. Our pitching was amazing, Pettitte came up big as usual and was one of the main reasons we won game 6. Tex's defense came up big in this series, and I think he'll breakout of his slump in the world series. The captain was as good as usual. Damon had a big hit yesterday. Robby played great defense, and had some decent hits to get some runs across. Melky played fundamental baseball, got the hits when needed and laid down the bunt when asked upon. Jorgey/Matsui didn't play their best baseball, but both played average. The Angels didn't play well, but are a very good franchise and should be back in the playoffs next season. Our offense was fine, even though they made a lot of key errors to give us a win, and yesterday I believe we would have won w/o both bunting errors. A-rod is just unbelievable, and is playing to win rather than for his statistics to go up. I'm so pumped to be back on top of the American League. I can't wait for the world series. And some of you guys really need to grow up and stop posting the bandwagon crap, none of the Yankees fans on here are bandwongers. We all live in the NY area. GO YANKS.
