Dr. Feelgood
This is a list I've been working on for awhile now. Right now, about 25-30 of these bands are accurate, the rest I was filling out to get 100 so that I can later edit it. This is my rough draft of my favorite 100 bands. The last 5 or so are actually pretty accurate as I don't think I'd rank them any higher than other bands but like I said, it's a rough draft. 1. Guns N Roses2. Aerosmith3. Velvet Revolver4. Motley Crue5. Ozzy Osbourne6. The Scorpions7. Muse8. AC/DC9. Drowning Pool (Dave Williams)*10. Dream Theater11. Metallica12. Alice Cooper13. Journey14. Boston15. Queen16. Black Sabbath17. Motorhead98. Disturbed99. Red Hot Chili Peppers100. White Zombie * = When Dave Williams was alive and fronting Drowning Pool, I loved them, but when they replaced him with their 2nd singer, it was hard to listen to them because I didn't like his voice at all.. Though I actually haven't heard any of their new stuff with their 3rd singer but I plan on getting their new CD. It'd be cool to check out some other people's top favorite bands/artists whether it's 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, etc. This is about music in general, not just rock/metal. So let's see some lists people.

Dr. Feelgood
To be honest, I thought of them but decided against it because I haven't listened to them nearly as much as the ones above, but I did consider them.

Lkr
GREAT list. RATM is decent, but doesn't fit your likings. Pink Floyd is an acquired taste. I personally hate Motorhead and RHCP. you got a last.fm?
Karl Malone
zeppelin at 53? Peppers at 99? I'd def. disagree with those but it all depends what music your into. Oh and screw deff leppard. lmao

BasX
I don't want to hijack the thread, but whats your definition of hardcore. Also, excellent list, not a fan of some of those, but the time taken deserves mad respect.

Dr. Feelgood
list blows! No third eye blind? Psh!Because that's a mature comment. 1. Guns N Roses2. Pearl Jam3. ACDC4. Incubus5. RHCP6. Linkin Park7. The Who8. Jimi Hendrix Experience9. Blink 18210. Coheed and Cambria Notables: The Roots and Hollywood Undead (wasnt sure if you count them) I dont really listen to alot of rock and dont feel like making a 100 list because I would forget some and the ordering would get messy. That's how it's been for me. I've since edited the list I posted, taking some off and adding others in. It's tough and I'm still not done with it. Granted I don't work on the list everyday, I usually work on it like twice a month or so.
SRV
Nice list, I wouldn't be sble to make a top 100 as I get stuck on listening to one artist for a long time and it takes something amazing to make listen to someone else. La Bomba
My personal favorite: 1. Sublime2. Arctic Monkeys3. The Strokes4. Dave Mathews Band5. Red Hot Chili Peppers6. 3117. MGMT8. Muse9. The Who10. Long Beach Dub All-Stars I don't really like a bunch of classic rock bands other than The Who. As you can see, our music tastes are basically polar opposite. AtTheDriveIn
calling the devil wears prada hardcore is pretty funny They take sounds from hardcore and combine it with metal to call themselves metalcore. It's not like he was completely wrong in saying they're hardcore. Edited December 9, 2009 by AtTheDriveIn
