andreusito
And it was raised to 10 million the year after that... By Answers.com There was a report in the 90s I believe that said he was making 3.5 anually back then, so this could be true.My question is, how much may he be making now?Everything above 10 million sounds beyond ridiculous to me. Owner Real Deal Posted October 21, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted October 21, 2009 Considering the work he has to put into his job, then given that the players are already overpaid as it is, I really don't think that $8-10 million is a lot for Stern. I don't like him, but I do respect what he has done for the league since becoming commish.
Amare320
It seem fair enough, he's very valuable to the NBA success so i wouldn't want to lose him by any means.
GamerGuy
Yeah, I'll agree that his salary is fine considering how much paper work he probably has to go through. I would imagine it's a pretty stressful position.

GamerGuy
There is no amount of paperwork that leads to stress worth $10 million per.Well, not just paperwork, but he's got to worry about the image of the league as well. His pay is on par with other commissioners as well. Roger Goodell makes $11 million per year. Stern does put it in a lot of hard work though, so that $10 million range seems justifiable to me.
