Owner Real Deal Posted October 21, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted October 21, 2009 I can probably do this myself, but a lot of you have a better understanding of who will be starting for your favorite teams (or other teams near you), so I need your help. Please list the starters for each team that you are 100% sure of. These are the fives you see under each team forum listed on the board index (yes, some of them need editing, I know, haha). Dash
You got the Rockets' right, just switch Hayes and Scola's positions.
Poe
You got the Rockets' right, just switch Hayes and Scola's positions.Andersen seems to have a good chance at starting, though. The Heat's line up looks good at this point. Rio, Wade, UD, and JO are definite starters, Beasley could have the highest chance of starting at the 3 by now, but there has been no final decision made, yet. Don't be surprised to see James Jones taking the starting position by the regular season. Q-Rich and even Dorell may also still have a chance, so nothing is certain. Built Ford Tough
From everything that I have read, heard and seen, the Raptors starting lineup is correct. Everything is pointing to it being Calderon/DeRozan/Turk/Bosh/Bargs.

Built Ford Tough
Bosh will play power forward? Yeah. During the pre game introductions Bosh is always announced as the starting power forward while Bargs is announced as the starting center. Bosh just takes the jump ball for the team because of his length and superior athleticism over Bargnani. I've also read that Triano and Colangelo want Bargnani to play inside more this season (I doubt it actually happens though) so I think this will be the year that Bargnani actually plays center rather than Bosh. One thing I noticed is the Knicks. I don't see David Lee not starting for them. I'm not exactly sure on the other positions but I would expect something like: LeeHarringtonGalinariChandlerDuhon That is just a guess though as outside of the center and power forward spot I am not positive who will start where. Owner Real Deal Posted October 21, 2009 Author Owner Report Share Posted October 21, 2009 Yeah, I had Lee removed because he was a free agent when I stuck those up there. Thanks.
Built Ford Tough
I just happened to stumble across this: It looks like Thabo Sefolosha has locked up a starting shooting guard spot with the Thunder after energizing the team with his defense in his return from injury. He’s also been shooting better at 54 percent and 40 percent on threes. It is from Sam Smith's blog. He is a Bulls writer so I don't know if it is completely credibile but it does sound realistic to have Sefolosha start at the two and have Harden come off of the bench for them. From what I heard three days ago, Harden was going to start. I know a guy that covers the Thunder, so I'll talk to him tonight. Thanks for pointing that out. Lone Wolf
This is a toss up... FlynnBrewerGomesLoveJefferson Of course, Love is gone up to 2 months, but I'd go with that, since it sounds like the most ideal starting lineup for most of the season. You could always wait and see what the Wolves will do for the first week, then change it once Love is back. s.t.a.t.
Love is hurt now so he will not start for the wolves, and Richardson will not be as he is not on the team anymore. Jefferson/Hollins?/Gomes/Brewer?/Flynn I guarantee that the wolves will not have a steady starting lineup, but I guess idk how Rambis coaches, but I would think we will be changing our lineups alot during the year. Owner Real Deal Posted October 21, 2009 Author Owner Report Share Posted October 21, 2009 I think I'm going to keep Love in the five, as he's their starter to begin with. The only guys I'll move out that are legit starters are like Yao, who won't play the entire season. I'm sure Love will be back. So Jefferson, Love, Gomes, Brewer and Flynn? andreusito
NashRichardsonHillStoudemireFrye It's not sure but that's what we've been playing in preseason. EDIT: yes it's that. Lopez has broken his foot or something like that I think. Edited October 21, 2009 by andreusito
Dr. Feelgood
No one really knows in Portland except the Nate, but I would assume it'll be something like... Steve BlakeBrandon RoyNikky BatumLaMarcus AldridgeGreg Oden There has been a lot of talk that Blake will be starting over Dre.
Owner Real Deal Posted October 21, 2009 Author Owner Report Share Posted October 21, 2009 Nets (Lopez, Jianlian, Williams, Lee, Harris) Good? I have no idea. Is Pietrus starting for the Magic? I'm assuming Curry will be starting for the Warriors now.

Poe
^ From what I've seen in the preseason, the Magic line up looks to be: Nelson - Carter - Lewis - Anderson - Howard. Edited October 21, 2009 by Poe
La Bomba
The Commercial Appeal said Iverson will start the season as a reserve. I don't know if that will continue but as of now the starters are Conley, Mayo, Gay, Randolph, and Gasol.
Riot
Yeah, I have no idea on the Magic as of now. Jameer/Vince/?/?/Dwight is a sure thing. Just not sure what Stan wants to do with Shard, Bass, Anderson, Pietrus, or Barnes. I'll keep an eye out.

Teletopez
Nets (Lopez, Jianlian, Williams, Lee, Harris) Good? I have no idea. The SF is, in all likelihood, going to be Hayes, but CDR and Williams still have legitimate shots at the starting role.

Dash
Brewer has been starting in the preseason, I believe. Yeah he has and not doing a bad job at it either. Rambis seems to prefer Sessions coming fresh off the bench, but I wouldn't be surprised if he gets the start once he gets more comfortable with the team. But yeah, for now that lineup is just right. Nets (Lopez, Jianlian, Williams, Lee, Harris) Good? I have no idea. Williams won't get the start. Its either Hayes or CDR, whose looked REALLY good in the preseason by the way.
