Owner Real Deal Posted October 23, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted October 23, 2009 Wow, the Lakers are actually looking pretty good with both Bynum and Gasol inactive tonight. Starters were Mbenga and Odom in their place, with Artest, Kobe and Fisher. I'm really surprised...52-46 lead at the half. It's on TNT, for anyone who doesn't know. Owner Real Deal Posted October 23, 2009 Author Owner Report Share Posted October 23, 2009 whats up with bynum? i dont keep upMinor rotator cuff injury. They want to sit him anyways, even though he can play. Man, Ron is looking GOOD in this offense. Mbenga is actually a decent player in the triangle, when it comes to moving without the ball. I'm pretty impressed.
Owner Real Deal Posted October 23, 2009 Author Owner Report Share Posted October 23, 2009 Mbenga with six blocks already. Our defense has improved. Players are having so much trouble getting past Kobe and around Artest, they aren't paying attention to the paint.

Owner Real Deal Posted October 23, 2009 Author Owner Report Share Posted October 23, 2009 Denver is playing Melo, Billups, Nene and Martin, and they are having trouble. It's really odd, because if I were to guess who would win this game, it would be the Nuggets, granted we don't have Bynum or Gasol. Mbenga is doing great. He's finally understanding the triangle, and with players having trouble getting to the rim, Mbenga is meeting them when they finally do, and our backcourt defense is the reason why he's having an easier time swatting shots. Poe
Man, the LA bench looks like they could win the championship by themselves Seriously, the LA squad looks better than ever this year. Ron looks to be on his way to getting a few triple doubles in the regular season (damn chucker). Bynum is looking fantastic averaging 20 points and 8 boards in the preseason. Off the bench, Mbenga, Powell, and Shannon have impressed this preseason. And not to mention Kobe, Pau, and Lamar are in primetime... I mean, DAMN. LA is in for a fantastic season, and getting Kobe a step closer to a Jordan-esqe six-ring career.
OldChili
So many turnovers by the Nuggets. 6 for Afflalo, 5 for Carmelo and AC, 4 for Billups, and 3 by Graham. Lakers looking real good this pre-season.
