Smitty
I hope you're right. I don't know man...I usually get that gut feeling about games like this(in any sport)
bigdog17k
Blanton vs CC isn't favorable at all. Why didn't they go with Blanton vs Pettitte in this last game?
Phightins
Blanton vs CC isn't favorable at all. Why didn't they go with Blanton vs Pettitte in this last game? Because then it would be Hamels vs. Sabathia tonight, which is even less favorable lol.
Cobb
Blanton already got into trouble allowing two runs and hitting Arod. Not a good way to start it off.
Flash
So uh...what the hell is that back stuff on Blanton's hat? Someones cheatin..
The Next Knick
Good inning, now CC's gotta get back to old form and start pitching decent. I guess it's just that we have seen CC do so well so when he starts to do eh, we get pissed.
Cleveland's Finest
Wow....Philly deserves to lose this. I thought at 4-4 Philly would surely have a walk off but they can't even get to the 9th. Lidge finally blows one in the playoffs. New York deserves to win this imo. They just won't back off and always keep the pressure on. At least the Eagles won today.
CaliCurbStomppa
Arod came up in the clutch big time... Hes definitely the World Series MVP if they win it all after hitting that big needed HR in game 3 and now a big hit in the top 9th to put his team in the lead. Smitty
http://i37.tinypic.com/5chxkw.gif Ugh. This is really gonna suck if Philly loses 4-1. I would rather lose to the Rays than lose to the Yankees...
Brand New
Yes, Yankees take a commanding 3-1 lead.
Phightins
The most painful loss I have ever gone though. Speechless. I just hope Cliff shuts them down tomorrow so I don't have to see them lift the trophy on our field. Can't even think about baseball right now. YugoRocketsFan
Salary cap in baseball ftw.
The Next Knick
This is on JD and Alex. Johnny came up big with those hits and that going to third, and then A-rod comes up HUGE with a hit. Jorgey played great as well as getting a big hit to give us a huge 3 run lead. Now we have Mo in to get the three last outs, all to Texiera
fish7718
Salary cap in baseball ftw. It's the owners of teams like the Pirates and the Marlins who would rather collect cheaply on the collective bargaining keeping baseball from having a salary cap
Cobb
Don't worry, the Phillies will win the next three.

The Next Knick
You guys can talk all you want about money, it's a league with no salary cap. And truthfully, all Yankees fans aren't thinking about all the Philly fans saying we buy wins, were thinking about that final win.

Flash
Great win tonight. Almost looked like Joba was gonna blow the game there but Johnny Damon saved our [expletive] big time. Great heads up base running by him as well. Then A-Rod finally came through and hopefully that gets him going for the rest of the series. Philly fans can talk about money if they want to I really don't care. The players still have to go out there and play the game regardless of what they make.
