Revis Island
Darrelle Revis played against my high school team when i was a junior and senior. He didn't play for our team but he was from another school He was real good. My friend's brother played against him. We didn't really know him tho I think The Champ is better right now but in few years i think he will pass both Aso and Champ if he can keep it up and stay in shape and not be injured.Great post, Repped. Revis Island
lmao. ok how about you actually watch a jets game. every long passing sitation the jets bring the heat. the ball comes out in less than 2 seconds. he's not covering hom for long at all. if the bills had a decent o line and qb. owens would of eaten revis alive. revis is good but overated. bailey IMO is better than revis is right now. and nnamdi is the best hands down.i love how one commentator from espn gets on revis' jock. and then everyone jumps on the revis is the best corner bandwagon. when he cleary isn't. he was doing agood job on moss. but again, he isn't as good as people make him out to be. the jets D is a big part of him slowing down big names wr's. not just him.Don't know about hands down, but I think Revis is a bit overrated. CB is probably the hardest position to rank since the Camera view is never on them. We can only judge them by what coaches and the media think of them and what the stats show us. It's literally impossible to determine who's the best CB other than opinion and preference.
Revis Island
Bailey is better and he doesn't need a team blitz to prove so. Bailey is more physical, more tough and a better tackler than Revis too, check the stats if you want evidence of tackling. There's nothing Revis does better than Bailey except get hype from his Obese Coach_________________
Revis Island
LMAO Hey maybe you haven't noticed that I'm from NEW YORK, I've been watching revis since his rookie year. Maybe YOU should watch revis instead of just assuming things. I've seen Revis put the locks on TO in the past. I've seen Revis lock down receivers like Moss, not only this year but in years past. His rookie year he shut down TO in Dallas on Thanksgiving. I could care the [expletive] less what an ESPN analyst says. Champ isn't what he used to be he's still great but he gets beat more and more and by #2's.He's not what he used to be? It's funny, because Bailey is still probably one of the faster CBs and athletic CBs in the NFL, probably more athletic and quicker than Revis is, so your Old comments on Bailey fail terribly there. However Champ has lost a step, however that does mean I think he's slow. He used to be untouchable speed but now he's just top end speed. I am not trying to say Bailey is bad or anything. Talk about me complimenting him saying he's not his best but is still a top 3 CB. So you fail miserably at reading my post.

Revis is def. overrated and his defensive schemes make him better than what he is.
Revis Island
on another site, a bunch of morons think REvis is amazing for being able to hold on to moss for 2 seconds.

Were you watching that game? I highly doubt you were, because Revis was in man coverage, while Dwight Lowery and Lito Sheppard and the likes were playing bracket coverage on the other side. There was no holding, it was just a straight shut down job, man-to-man.

I never said that revis sucked. i said he was overrated. hes stilla good player. but some ppl make him out to be nnamdi x 3 which he is not. nnamdi is still the best corner in the nfl IMO and no ones even close to his level of play right now. There was no holding, it was just a straight shut down job, man-to-man.Let's see if he can do it against a pissed off Patriots and Randy Moss team next week, If he does? He's for real. He's probably the 2nd best CB but still.
BrewCityBuck
You have to love a thread that proclaims one CB is better than the rest, but no explanation is given as to why.
