A.K.
Chris Broussard just said on ESPN that TREVOR ARIZA is in serious talks with the Cavaliers. This means that they wouldn't be getting Ron Artest as they wouldn't have the money and they play the same position. This means that it's down to Orlando and Los Angeles. What's gonna happen!? EDIT: Haha, my bad. That was a pretty important word to have a typo on. LOL Edited July 2, 2009 by Swish

The Goods
Cavs can have Ariza, we'll take Artest.
Cleveland's Finest
Wow. I want Ariza so much more than Ron. He's younger, more athletic, and shot the 3 so well in the playoffs. Never thought we'd have a chance at him! Edited July 2, 2009 by Cleveland's Finest
Brand New
Wow. I would hate Ariza if he goes to Cleveland. But whatever. He might just be a contract year player. Anyways Ron is a beast and plays great D. Signing Artest and Odom would be dope. Queens reunion. G's 4 life.
JWaLL
Wow, Artest to L.A? That team, assuming they bring back Odom, would probably break the Bulls all time regular season record.

Cleveland's Finest
I'm surprised LA fans don't care for Ariza if they get Artest. He hit alot of daggers in the postseason and had the athleticism every title team needs. BasX
Portland and Toronto are also in the race for Ariza, only because they can offer the most money. From another ESPN article.
Legacy
Haha, if Ariza goes to the Cavs it'd be funny.

HornyWetPenguin
Orlando gets a boost in VC, and Lakers might get Artest. Lakers win. KB with Artest would be awesome, but I'd miss their matchups.
Flash
Artest to Orlando would be filthy.
Cleveland's Finest
Lol....the Cavs fans are going crazy on the cavfanatic team forums. These random posters keep saying Ariza signed a 4 yr 33 mill deal with us.

Ron Artest is in LA right now hanging out with Lamar Odom.

The Artesticle
Let's see... Ron adores Kobe, and they're great friends off the court. Ron respects Phil Jackson. Ron and Lamar Odom are pretty much BFF. If Lakers resign LO soon, and it comes between these two teams, he's going to LA. We'll see what happens. But apparently Orlando is now the hotspot of NBA free agents. And according to Alex, they will be getting everyone from Rasheed Wallace to Chris Bosh to Ron Artest. So who knows. magicbalala245
Artest to Orlando please. Ain't happening man. Artest is very good friends with Artest and Artest has said numerous times he would like to play with Kobe and Lamar in the past. It also explains when he was injured with the Kings and when they came into town Ron would always suit up against us. You can cause the following game after Ron would sit out. Guest Nissan
Wait.....your seriously gonna put Lebron at PF? LOL.What's so funny? LeBron is going to play PF/Point forward this season. Why do you think the Cavs want Ariza or Artest?
Sun Tzu
This could be the decider for the championship IMO. If Artest goes to Magic, they would probably win it. If Artest goes to the Lakers, they would probably win it.
Owner Real Deal Posted July 2, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted July 2, 2009 I would take Artest over Ariza, easily. Trevor does want a lot of money. Artest is a better defender and better offensive player.
GamerGuy
I love Trevor...but man, if we got Artest I would cream my pants.
