Rip or Redd?

Redd has proven he can be a primary scoring option when he's healthy, and he's the better scorer. Hamilton is excellent off the ball and has a solid mid-range game.

 

Who do you take if you're Cleveland?

 

Would you trade Zydrunas Ilgauskas for either player?

Redd would be the better option imo, but both would be an upgrade over anthony parker. Redd would be able to space the floor with his deadly 3pt range, while Rip would crowd the mid range area.

I like both players, a lot actually. Either would be a step up for us, but I'd take Redd. I think he would be a better fit in our offense. I'd trade Z for either of them, we would be gaining more than we're losing.

I really don't think we'd trade for Big Z but you never know. With the way Bogut has played tonight we may have to.

Redd is the better fit. His superior long range shooting would fit in perfectly with LeBron and Shaq. With LeBron's penetration and the attention that Shaq gets down low (when he is on his game) Redd could get 9-12 points a night strictly off kick outs. He is also capable of creating offense for himself better than Hamilton is imo which is another plus.

 

Hamilton is better at working off of the ball and shooting mid range jumpers, but its not like Redd is not capable of knocking down mid range jumpers or working off of the ball either. I think that Redd is the superior player offensively which is why I would go with him.
