Owner Real Deal Posted October 30, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted October 30, 2009 Both are capable starters, but which player is more expendable before the deadline? Camby's contract is up. Kaman is younger and more valuable, but is signed through the 2011-12 season.
andreusito
MArcus Camby, because his contract can get you a good trade and he's 37 or something so it's fine if he's gone.
Purple Reign
Camby. Chris Kaman can arguably be the most underrated center in the league right now. He's been pretty consistent over the years, has a very sound game, and just goes out there and plays hard. Kaman also is only 27, which is a big part of the argument there. Kaman will probably put up all star numbers (especially in the Western Conference where I struggle to see more than a handful of possible All-Star big men) and not even be considered to be in the ASG. Its too bad, really.
Poe
Chris Kaman is averaging 23 and 10 right now. He's beasting statistically. With Chris at 27 years old playing so well, and Marcus at 35 years having an expiring contract... I think the answer is obvious.
Sun Tzu
Easily Camby, I'd rather get rid of Camby than Kaman.
