"It's not going away, and it was hard for a few days," he said. "I didn't expect it to be this way, but we're doing what we have to do." Gasol will travel on the upcoming two-game road trip to OKC and Houston, but doesn't sound like a good bet to play in either game at this point.---http://lakersblog.latimes.com/lakersblog/2009/11/phil-jackson-on-pau-gasol-practice-habits.html

Diesel
I hope the Lakers are ready for a couple more losses. Without Gasol they are not a contender.

Owner Real Deal Posted November 2, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted November 2, 2009 Best in the West, .694 win percentage and 25-11 record two years ago without Gasol, we are fine. Bynum is giving us 20-point games. He's not some mediocre garbage center. Just another example of people needing to pay more attention to their basketball. Bynum had a good stretch but who would have thought that he would have done that over an entire season? The Lakers win when their post presence does excellent. kingfish
We would win 60 games without him.
Dash
Their next five opponents are OKC, Houston, Memphis, New Orleans and Phoenix, predominately wing cored teams. Lakers will be fine.
