Urban meyer is an [expletive].

Plain and simple he just cares about winning and he is scum. He played a concussion injured Tebow and now only suspending him on this, hes also played Swine flu victims. He doesn't care about anything but winning and its just disgusting to me. I hate people like him including him.

I suppose you guys have never played football before.

This happens during a lot of points during the game. The only reason this one is magnified is because it's a player of Spikes' caliber, Florida, and an Urban Meyer coached team. Plus the camera caught it.

If we suspended every player that did something like this during a game, we wouldn't be playing the games at all.

I don't know that many players that intentionally gauge opposing player's eyes. i've never had it happen to me either

Yeah, your right. Players try to gouge other players eyes all the time. Bull[expletive]. I don't want to hear that.

This is the first time I've ever seen something like this happen and I've watched tons of High School, College, and Professional Football games. This DOESN'T happen all the time.

They may not gouge their eyes out every other play, but I didn't say that.

The reason you don't see it is because camera's rarely are able to get inside of those piles. Ask any player that has played at a high caliber high school level. Players punch, pinch, grab, scratch, gouge, stomp, kick every single scrum just like that one. It's not an unusual occurrence.

Do you read what you say? Or do you just say it?

He said "This happens during a lot of points during the game."

Seriously. He said a lot not all the time. Next time read better.

I meant this type of thing, it just came out wrong.

Anyways. Watch the video. The intent was there to gouge his eyes. There are no doubts in that. He didn't actually do it, though. Ealey got up and played the very next snap. If his eyes were really gouged, he's gone for the game, maybe more. That mere fact doesn't make this a multi-game suspension.

Please also consider that his helmet had been knocked off twice prior to that point, he had been poked in the eye which did result in Spikes having to go to the sidelines. This wasn't just your normal game. SEC game, Florida and Georgia. Tempers had been flaring all game. This is heat of the moment [expletive]. It happens every game.

It should've been a full game, but whatever. What's done is done.

The first half of the game does not even matter, its all about how you finish.

This is basically like sitting him on the bench just to chill with his friends and then coming in when its needed. What kind of a suspension is that?

First off things happen in a game as I have played football but I have never seen someone deliberately go inside someones facemask like that. Its inexcusable and Iboldin im happy you corrected the meaning because I felt as upset about it as Cobb but even still. Pinching nd all that is not anywhere near the level of deliberately going inside another persons facemask for whatever reason. That is inexcusable and he should have been suspended for a couple of games for that.

And heat flares so its ok? So if it happens in a rivalry game it makes it better then not? No thats bs. I don't care when it is, just like Blount it was the heat of the moment nd hes done for the year. Are you going to defend him completely how he punched a guy and then tried to take on fans? I mean come on. It was a dirty play and it is inexcusable stop making excuses for him Iboldin. Its as bad as it looks.

I actually don't really care what happens. I never said anything about Bliunt, either, even though Blount is going to be back in the next couple of weeks.

All I'm saying, is this is being blown out of proportion because of something that got caught on camera's. What happens if this happens but the camera doesn't catch it? Because this type of thing happens every little dog pile you get. The intent to hurt the person is still there whether it's an eye gouge or it's grabbing some lineman's nuts at the bottom of the pile.

I do think he should be suspended longer. But he's not a "filthy" player for it, because that's what lkr said he was. That's what I was arguing.

While this "might" be a common occurence in Football it still doesn't excuse his actions. A half against Vanderbilt is fricken ridiculous and it shows just how classless that whole program and the SEC are.

I'm not surprised one bit either. Anyone who follows CFB closely knows Meyer is a joke in terms of disciplining his players.

Guy who have never played organized football need to know that this stuff happens on a game to game basis.

Nut kicking, kneeing, grabbing, biting, gouging, etc are all happening.

He just got snagged for it.

Does that still make it right? I played organized football in Miami Dade in high school and that never happened to me nor did I think about doing that to anyone else.
