Andrew Bynum injures elbow, will have MRI

Andrew Bynum had 17 points and 17 rebounds on Wednesday, but he may have sprained his elbow on the last play of the game. He intends to have an MRI on Thursday.

Bynum couldn't even lift his arm to get dressed after the game, according to beat writer Kevin Ding, but he was laughing and "seemed optimistic." We'll obviously keep a close eye on this, and will post an update once more is known. Nov. 5 - 12:11 am et

Usually when Bynum laughs about his injuries its bad, :(.

Took me two weeks to get over my sprained elbow, but according to the doctor, it was a severe sprain for me. Just putting that out there, of course. I couldn't raise my arm past my chest.

Was it your dominant elbow on the arm you use more for like eating?

Haha, yeah. I was driving to the rim, went up for a layup and was undercut. My elbow had started swelling within five minutes, and I had to wear a sling for a week, couldn't bend it all the way in or out for two weeks, couldn't raise it above my chest for a week and a half without it hurting.
