La Bomba
The Grizzlies waived forward Trey Gilder this morning, cutting their roster to 14 players. Memphis is in need of help at power forward with second-year player Darrell Arthur out up to four months with a pectoral tear. Chris Richard – a 6-9 journeyman – is a person of interest for the Grizzlies. Richard last played for Minnesota during the 2007-08 season.. Gilder played with a partially guaranteed contract that owed him $25,000. In two regular-season games, the 6-9 forward amassed two points, one rebound and a steal in a total of five minutes. The 24-year-old signed as a free agent Aug. 27. http://www.commercialappeal.com/news/2009/nov/05/grizzlies-waive-forward-gilder/
