headliner
Chicago Bulls forward Tyrus Thomas suffered a fractured radius of his left forearm during a weight training session this morning at practice. X-rays confirmed the injury and he will undergo surgery tomorrow. The surgery will be performed at Rush, by team physicians Dr. Brian Cole and Dr. John Fernandez, and assisted by Dr. Mark Cohen. Thomas is expected to be out four to six weeks. In four games (three starts) this season, the Louisiana State product has averaged 8.3 ppg, 5.3 rpg and 1.75 bpg in 21.0 mpg. Erick Blasco
He ended up in Vinny Del Negro's doghouse for arguing during a film session about a missed rotation, and they've played well without him on the floor. They won't notice his loss with Noah playing so well.
Owner Real Deal Posted November 7, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted November 7, 2009 Yeah, I read Chicago is going to let him go anyways. I think they'll do fine without him.
headliner
That’s a very good talent but he doesn’t seem to fit in with this team. I think it’s a matter of Thomas finding the right system and then I believe he would excel in the NBA. Tyrus Thomas must be disappointed to get injured they way he did. Erick Blasco
I think it would help if he and Noah weren't on the same team. They're extremely similar, but while Thomas has more talent and a touch more athleticism, he makes too many mistakes. They can just play Noah, making Thomas expendable if he's not playing smart basketball. RD's right, I'd be surprised if he's still on the team next season. MJ23
If I was Gar Forman,i'd trade him as soon as possible.
Gooner
Who cares? Thomas is dumb as rocks. He's an athlete, not a basketball player. The sooner he's gone the better.
