headliner
Spurs point guard Tony Parker expects to miss a week of action after spraining his ankle on Friday night. Parker insists that the sprain isn't as bad as some that he has suffered in his career. He missed nine games last season after spraining the same ankle. "This one is not even close," Parker told the San Antonio Express-News. "It will be a week, maybe." REAL GM Not easy to lose one of your best players especially your point guard. OldChili
Spurs with their poor start to a new season once again.
Diesel
Spurs looked bad from what I saw. Richard Jefferson looked alright in the game, but Ginobili looks like he lost quite a bit of explosiveness. Duncan looks realllllly thin and he doesn't look as dominant from what I can tell. SA better hope Parker gets back asap. Other than Dallas though this upcoming week doesn't look too hefty for them so they should be alright. headliner
In the always tough western conference I don’t think the Spurs and afford a slow start and losing Tony Parker even for a week hurts them. It’s just makes them a little bit more vulnerable it will be interesting to see what the Spurs do with Parkers absents.
Erick Blasco
Don't overreact yet. Remember last season when the Spurs were off to an awful start and the entire team was injured and they ended up as a 3 seed.
Sun Tzu
Right now the Spurs are struggling and with Parker out I see them struggling even more, but luckily his only out for a week.
