I really enjoyed the Royal Rumble they did. Didn't expected that. The Moment to Wrestlemania is cool and i played a little of that GM Mode but didnt get chance to play much. The story creator [expletive] took too much time for me and very little satisfaction from completing one. Most my game time will be reserved for COD MW2 now anyways. Cleveland's Finest Posted November 8, 2009 Author Report Share Posted November 8, 2009 Right now I started a storyline which will be a Road to Wrestlemania type thing with Edge and Christian reuniting...I have some epic-like ideas involving the team. It starts the first week of January and there is an ECW merger in which the ECW wrestlers are placed on Raw or Smackdown, ending the ECW brand. From there, Christian has to work his way to the main event on Raw and at Royal Royal Rumble he and Edge will reunite...it'll be sick. There are a lot of things you can do to make you're story special. I'm having fun most with superstar threads actually. Like Travesy, I tried using create-a-story mode but it just seemed like too much work to get nothing special done. Personally I preferred GM mode. I was buying some used books at a local second hand store today and noticed that they had this game for pretty cheap. I haven't played a wrestling game since about SVR2007 or 06 because I lost interest in wrestling, but I did always enjoy these games. Also, do they still have that GM Mode thing in the newer games? Nope no more gm modes since the 2008 game, but they do have a story designer, which is great but it takes hours just to make one storyline. Shame because I absolutely loved the gm modes, hell I still to this day pop in SVR 2008 and play about a ppv or two's worth of gm mode.
