I would love to see the Pats sign him because i know that would jumpstart his career but with all the backs we have (Jackson, Maroney, Green-Ellis, Morris) I don't think that'll happen but it would certainly help our running game because Johnson is capable of putting up great numbers like he did a couple seasons ago.

Just imagine if he returned to his old form with whatever team he ends up playing with. That would be crazy but the chances of that happening are slim to none.

i doubt he is gonna return to how he was a few years ago, but he will absolutely be better then he has been recently

Chiefs release Larry Johnson after one-week suspension ends

Associated Press

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Larry Johnson's record-breaking career as a Kansas City running back is over.

The Chiefs confirmed Monday that they had run out of patience with his off-the-field problems and released Johnson the day he was due to come back from his second suspension in a year.

Johnson, who turns 30 on Nov. 19, was just 75 yards away from breaking Priest Holmes' team rushing record.
