YoSixers
Sixers lost tonight to the red hot Phoenix Suns in a shootout 119-115. Reasons for the L:1. The Three Point LineSuns shot 15 of 30 from threes, while the Sixers shot 5 of 13. Our three point shooting is not very good and our perimeter defense is even worse. No excuse for leaving good shooters wide open on the perimeter. The Sixers outrebounded the Suns 39-33, 10-6 on offensive rebounds. Much better on the glass tonight. We even shot at a higher percentage overall than the Suns. We were up 17 at one point, no excuse to lose this game. I don't know what is wrong with the Sixers, but changes need to be made. When our bench came in the game we actually managed to hang around instead of falling behind like we usually do. Holiday finally got some minutes - scored 8 points in 15 minutes with 3 boards and 2 assists and great defense. Hopefully there is more of that to come. Speights had another good game against the Suns, 20 points and 8 boards. Iguodala - 24 points, 9 boardsLou Will - 13 pointsThad - 15 pointsBrand - 10 points, and only two boards...
