BlueDevil
Jul 02, 2009 2:06 AM EST League sources indicated early Thursday that the Raptors are contemplating an offer to restricted free agent David Lee. Any offer to Lee, by definition, would be in the $8-$10 million range and would test the Knicks in terms of their willingness to match a hefty offer. Toronto is still considering whether or not to attempt to beat Portland's offer for Hedo Turkoglu. http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/60271/20090702/raptors_contemplating_offer_for_david_lee/ so the raps have reportedly already given up on Turkoglu (thank god), so now they're going after Lee (probably to replace Bosh once he leaves). I still hop they get Ariza, but not for as mush as hes asking.
KurbyFX
Do they only have cap for one player?

BlueDevil
I read somewhere that the only way they could afford Turkoglu is if they renounce the rights to Marion, Carlos, Joey, O'Brayant, and some other no name player. So it looks as though they're assuming Marion is out, everyone else on that list is expendable, although I'd like to see Carlos back.
