Mentch
3 weeks ago, the Broncos had a 3 game lead, similar to that of last year, when they went 8-5 but lost their last 3 games to miss the playoffs and cause everything that happened over the offseason. Now, they only have a 1-game lead over the Chargers, who are on fire after Philip Rivers led another comeback win over the Giants on Sunday. Both teams play extremely winnable games against NFC East teams, so leading up to the matchup next week, Denver should be 7-2 and the Chargers should be 6-3. That game will possibly show that the Broncos are on the verge of another collapse, and that the Chargers are once again the powerhouse in the AFC West. 2008 Broncos = 2009 Broncos? Discuss. OSUBucksfan09
No for a couple reasons. The offense was much better last year for the Broncos when Cutler was on, Defense is much better for the broncos this year. Secondly Orton does not throw four interceptions a game like Cutler. They may choke again but completely different team.
papertrail
It's not the same team. Offense isn't much better, but the D is a drastic improvement. I think there luck has run out though. There best bet to win is going to be to play lock-down defense and hope they can score more points than they give up.
