Cobb
ABC Iowa QB Ricky Stanzi underwent ankle surgery this week so he's not going be playing in this game and possibly the Minnesota game. With him out, the Buckeyes should be able to win easily but then again you never know with Pryor playing. Predictions?
OSUBucksfan09
I see OSU winning this game by 10. I see both defenses playing lights out but at the end of the day I see OSU being able to put up some points while Iowa struggles without Stanzi. Cobb
I was just checking out some stats of Ohio State and Pyror is the leader in passing and rushing TD's. That tells me one thing, if Pyror and the passing game is struggling then the whole team is going to struggle.
OSUBucksfan09
See our game vs Wisconsin, he played like crap yet we won due to our good running game and defense. The problem with our rushing game other then Pryor is that our starter has been out last two games(before last weekend) and its split time between Saine and Herron and then we have another guy named Jordan Hall who gets time too so yeah. And check out the passing attacks stats the last two games Cobb, its looked a lot better then it did vs Purdue
Cobb
Oh boy, that Purdue game. I'm bet your glad you go to Purdue because you would've be mad for a while if you didn't.
OSUBucksfan09
Lol I still was a little mad but Purdue beat Michigan so yeah
Cobb
James Vandenberg has started off on fire. Iowa is up right now 3-0 but it should be 7-0 if Trey Stross had caught that pass from Vandenberg. I'm a bit surprise that Vandenberg is doing so well. You couldn't tell by his stats or by watching him play that he is a Freshman.
Cleveland's Finest
OSU will win the Big Ten for the 5th year in a row! The defense was terrible, getting only one sack, but it was a big sack. Vandenberg had absolutely no pressure all game and our offense was pretty stagnant. OSU got some breaks, but a win is a win! Lkr
I look forward to seeing Oregon/Arizona decimate OSU
OSUBucksfan09
Cleveland did you watch the game? Jw but I disagree with you on the defense. They didn't consistently get pressure but they did a decent job. I mean one of the TDs that Iowa had gotten was a KR and other then McNutt they played pretty well against the run and decent against the pass (other then the pick drop/ catch for Iowa) obviously dropped balls helped their cause but still.Offense was good when they would run and let Pryor move out of the pocket, the problem is they would do the same thing drive after drive with run run then pass so it hurts them to be effective without decent first down plays. And LKR don't be bitter cause your team got raped today. No one likes a sore loser.
Flash
Time for the annual OSU* getting beat down by a top OOC team. Even hardcore Bucks fans know you guys should've handled this team easily after their first loss and without their QB at home.
Cobb
I'm pretty sure Vandenberg is better then Stanzi. Edited November 15, 2009 by CobbFC09

He completed like 9 of 9 to start and if you watched the game, then you saw that on their first drive he threw a perfect pass which the receiver missed for the touchdown. And to open up the 2nd half, he did fairly well but the kicker missed a chip shot.
OSUBucksfan09
I saw his first drive which was ugly but they could not run the ball at all. They may have had time in the first half but they consistently got nothing in the run game and then in the second half and later on in the first they started to get to the QB with the exception of the last drive for Iowa that they scored on. Cleveland's Finest
His first drive was ugly? He started 7/7 and did you see the receiver missed a perfect pass which would've given Iowa a 7-0 lead? And the only time Vandenberg fell to the grown and was affected by the D physically was when Worthington sacked him. He had at least 4 seconds in the pocket all 4 quarters. OSUBucksfan09
As a defense the first drive was ugly. The biggest surprise was that they did not ever blitz him, which would be the first thing I would do against a freshman quarter back.
